What are your business hours? 

Aurelia + Icarus is online only so you can shop 24/7!  However, we do hold regular business hours for shipping and customer service. We are closed on all major U.S. federal holidays. If you are trying to reach us outside our regular business hours or during a holiday, please know we will respond to your inquiry when we return the following business day, between these hours:

Monday - Friday - 9am-5pm EST

When will my order ship?

We ship Monday through Friday and most in-stock orders ship within 24 hours from the order date. Orders placed on the weekend and select holidays will be processed on the next business day. Please note that certain pieces are made to order or may be out of stock, which can result in extended delivery time. We will make every effort to communicate with you as soon as possible regarding any potential shipping delays.

My order status is 'unfulfilled', what does this mean?

If your order status is shown as unfulfilled this simply means your order has not yet been dispatched, but the payment has been successful. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email to confirm your order has been fulfilled and another email providing you with a tracking number.

    Where is my order?

    Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can keep an eye on its activity while it makes its way to you. You can also log into your Aurelia + Icarus account at any time and select “My Orders” to review your order status.

    My Tracking says "Delivered" But I Haven't Received Anything!

    As soon as your order is updated to "Delivered" by the postal courier, it triggers an automatic email from Aurelia + Icarus to inform you your package has been delivered.  

    Occasionally a parcel will be marked as delivered by the shipping courier prematurely.  If you received a delivery notice, only to find your parcel is not there, here is some information you should know:

    Says Delivered:  DOMESTIC DELIVERY

    If you receive this notice but the package is not in your mailbox, in your apartment office, or on the doorstep, here are some things to know, organized by courier/service:

    What to do is your order was shipped USPS FIRST CLASS:

    1.  USPS delivery vans have GPS system that sometimes automatically updates a shipment as "delivered" prematurely. Wait another business day because the package was most likely marked as delivered accidentally, and will arrive the business day or shortly after. 


    2.  Contact your local post office ASAP. Make sure to call your LOCAL OFFICE, and NOT the USPS HOTLINE (this can take a lot of time, and they only tell you what the tracking already says). Ask them who delivered the parcel, and ask them details about that day's delivery. They are used to these types of questions, and can usually provide helpful information.

    3.  Print the tracking number page and leave a note in your mailbox and state that it says delivered but you haven't received it.  Make sure to prop it up or tape it so the postman can see it.   

    Usually when all these points have been done, you should be able to get it!
    If the parcel does not show up (extremely rare occasion), please call the Post Office and file a claim. Aurelia + Icarus cannot reimburse orders that were misdelivered by the post office or stolen from a property, thank you for understanding! (Read our Terms of Service)

    What to do if your order was shipped UPS

    • Allow an extra business day for your parcel to arrive. 
    • Contact UPS Hotline - they are liable for misdelivered mail 1-800-742-5877
    Says Delivered, INTERNATIONAL

    Often, an international parcel is marked as "delivered" when it arrives at a processing facility, or as soon as the order has been processed over to the new tracking system. 

    It's common for a lag in time from when the parcel is marked as "delivered" to when you are notified to pick up the parcel (this may vary with different couriers who have different COD options). 
    Things to do:
    • Check your mailbox daily for a notice from your local post to go pick up your parcel.
    • Contact your local customs office and inquire about your delivery.
    Things NOT to do:
    • Don't panic! The package is usually delivered a few days later, or a notice from customs is found in the mailbox.
    NOTE:  USPS are not able to inquire for parcels once they reach a different country.

    If Your Parcel Was Delivered by  UPS

    • Allow an extra business day for your item to be delivered
    • Contact UPS hotline International: 1-800-782-7892
    If you have further concerns, reach out to your local customs office, as they usually have more immediate answers regarding shipping than we do.

      How do I care for my jewelry?

      Store your jewelry in a dry, airtight container and keep them away from any water/moisture, perfume, liquid, moisturizers etc or any other substance that may cause damage to it.  Clean product with a dry soft, lint-fee cloth. 

      We highly recommend you remove your jewelry when doing the following activities to avoid them from getting damaged:

      • Showering, bathing or washing your hands.
      • Exercising (the salt in your sweat affects the plating)
      • Applying perfumes, lotions, oils, hairspray etc.
      • Swimming (chlorine can often have a negative effect on plating over time)
      • Cleaning - especially with harsh chemicals
      • Changing clothes

      It is completely natural for materials such as brass and Sterling silver to oxidize/patina over time.  Raw brass may require a brass cleaner from time to time.

      Following these practices helps to prolong a longer life-span of your lovely pieces.

      What is my ring size?

      Most local jewelers can measure your US ring size free of charge (check with them first to confirm!).  Most of our rings are US size 6 or 7.  Please note not all rings are available in these sizes.

      Help, I lost one of my earrings! Can I buy just one instead of a pair?

      Yes! Please Contact Us for further instructions. 

        I bought something online as a gift and shipped it directly to them. Will they see the pricing? How is it packaged?

        All packages arrive wrapped and ready for gifting! A packing slip is included in each package, but does not display pricing information.  

          Does Aurelia + Icarus have a storefront?

          Aurelia + Icarus does not have a physical location. We are an earth-friendly, e-commerce platform dedicated to making women feel beautiful without harming the planet.
